don't wake me up i'm crashing with the waves of alcohol and days in this ghost town memories un-die like vampires in the night it's hard to sleep with the waking world outside my mind keeps changing all the time it's hard to be something other than i'm not my wife and breath are all i've got it's nothing more nothing less nothing i can taste so keep your teeth out of my neck it's hard to be in a future out of sight so don't wake me up you'll find nothing in my bed unmade and words unsaid in my life i'm still waiting for a sign i'm waiting all the time
